SCERA’s Indoor Season announces auditions for its Fall 2026 Theatre for Young Audiences production of IF YOU GIVE A MOUSE A COOKIE. It will be directed by Brodee Ripple.

The play will be on stage at SCERA Center for the Arts October 19-November 6, 2026 with 10:00 am matinees Monday through Friday for school groups and 7:00pm shows for the general public on Monday and Friday evenings.

The one-hour play features 2 roles and is cast with all adult actors, those 16 and older are encouraged to audition if their schedule permits. Please note this show is single cast and no conflicts will be accepted after October 9. Auditions will be held on Wednesday August 26 between 7:00-9:00 pm at SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State, Orem.

Video auditions are accepted – please film a video of the same sides.

SIGN UP FOR AUDITIONS: Auditions are done by appointment, and you can register online and sign up for a time at this Casting Manager link: https://v2.castingmanager.com/audition/view/1f334a88-a6cb-48bd-8122-06ad8071eba9 – If this is your first time using Casting Manager, you will be asked to create an account, and upload a resume and headshot if you have them. If you don’t have a resume or headshot, there is space where you can add in your education, training, experience, shows, etc. However, if you are new to theatre and the audition process, don’t be intimidated…we welcome talented first-timers! If you are more comfortable, you can also submit a video audition in Casting Manager. AUDITION VIDEO INSTRUCTIONS: Once in Casting Manager, click on the role you would like to audition for and click on the Video Submission box where it will give you a place for your YouTube link.

Cast members must be available for morning weekday rehearsals 9:30-11:30am and for all fifteen weekday morning matinees and all six evening performances. Rehearsals will run August 31-October 9, 2026. A more detailed schedule will be provided once casting is final.
