Description

Your OSCAR® award awaits!  Experience the fun of starring in a movie! Students will learn the art of on-camera acting, improvisational acting, and script-writing while starring in a short, professional, and imaginative family movie. Developed by a Disney and Nickelodeon producer, the curriculum this summer will focus on understanding healthy conflicts that exist between each character in your movie script. In addition, the older OSCAR class will be given an opportunity to write, storyboard, and direct their own short movie. Family and friends are then invited to attend our annual VIP, red-carpet movie premiere on the silver screen in the Clarke Grand Theatre at SCERA. Everyone receives a role in the short movie, unlimited premiere tickets, and a copy of their movie on DVD. NOTE: Please bring a sack lunch each day. A healthy snack provided mid-morning each day.
