BETHANY SALDANA

Bethany has enjoyed performing from a young age. She has performed in shows at SCERA Center for the Arts and SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre. Recently she won first place in both the classical musical theater divisions of NATS vocal competition. She also won first place in the musical theater division of the NATS regional vocal competition in California this year (a 5 state competition). Bethany started college as a vocal performance major and later switched to marriage, family and human development. She holds a bachelor’s degree from BYU and masters degree from George Mason University. She loves teaching all styles of singing, but feels most at home teaching musical theater. Bethany is adept at teaching beginning to intermediate levels. She is thrilled about teaching voice at SCERA and looks forward to working with members of the community, especially new singers! She believes that learning to sing is a great metaphor for learning to experience life to its fullest. When she isn’t singing, she is a homeschool mom and loves traveling and eating delectable foods!
