Description

SCERA Chamber Singers is a premier auditioned adult chamber choir dedicated to musical excellence and artistic expression with four mainstage concerts at SCERA Center for the Arts, several outreach performing opportunities, including an optional tour to London in June 2027. Our close-knit ensemble brings together passionate, skilled singers to share the transformative power of choral music. Whether performing classical masterpieces, contemporary works, popular favorites, or hidden gems, we strive to inspire, connect, and uplift audiences both within our community and beyond. If you are accepted into the group, you will be sent a private link to register and pay. 

Under the direction of Miriam Burton, SCERA Chamber Singers is a 10-month commitment from August 2026 through May 2027.

Rehearsals are held weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm with additional commitments for concerts, dress rehearsals and tour | A detailed scheduled will be provided

Tuition & Fees:

TUITION
$100 per semester | Due at the beginning of each semester

Auditions for the 2026–2027 season of SCERA Chamber Singers will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026 between 6:30–8:30pm in Room 201 at SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State Street, Orem. No appointment is needed, just drop in anytime during the two hours, but please fill out the online form below before you come. Auditions consist of the following:

✔️Sing one minute of a song that demonstrates the best part of your voice. The piece should be sung with accompaniment (bring an accompanist or have an accompaniment track cued on your device).

✔️Range check

✔️Sight read a piece with four-part harmony

The choir performs four mainstage concerts at SCERA Center for the Arts, several outreach performances, and an optional tour.
