Welcome! We are excited to host the first ever SCERA Maker’s Market. Our goal is to provide our community with a fun Christmas themed event where they can buy Christmas presents and eat delicious food from YOU! As we screen applicants, please make sure your products are high quality items that customers would like to purchase. We want this event to be successful for both vendor and patron and we need your help to do that.
The form below is simply the application. You will be required to pay a nonrefundable $15 application fee. Once all applications are received, we will review each vendor for entrance into the festival. Please keep in mind that as we screen vendors, we are looking for both high quality products and a variety of booths. We want to ensure that several vendors are not selling the same types of product or food. This helps you sell more, and allows the festival attendees to have a variety of product to buy. If you are approved, we will reach out for payment for the event itself.
The decision of SCERA with respect to allocation of booth space and products sold will be final and binding upon all Vendors. Vendors may not transfer or sublease the booth to another person without proper approval from SCERA. Vendors may not share such assigned space with any other vendor unless it is specifically approved in writing by Ashley Harvey, the Maker’s Market Director.
LOCATION & DATES
The SCERA Maker’s Market will be held Thursday, December 10th from 5-9 PM, Friday, December 11th from 11 AM to 9 PM, and Saturday, December 12th from 10 AM to 9 PM. This market is an OUTDOOR event. Vendors are welcome to bring small propane heaters to heat their booths. Please specify in the application what other power needs your booth may have so we may provide that to you. Vendors are responsible for furnishing their own booth space and providing their own tents.
We want this Maker’s Market to be as festive and magical as possible. The decoration of your booth is highly encouraged. We will have a special committee assigned to vote for the best decorated booth. The winner will receive a 100% refund for their space. We will be sending pictures of decorated booths to help you get ideas of what you can do.
