GOIN’ HOME: An evening of music by SCERA Chamber Singers

Come enjoy an evening of rousing, inspiring and beautiful music about returning home, with a mix of art songs, spirituals, gospel songs, and traditional hymns, including highlights by Antonín Dvořák, Eric Whitacre, Craig Courtney, and Brent Wells as well as pieces including “Homeward Bound,” Aretha Franklin’s “Climbing Higher Mountains,” “Goin’ Home” from the New World Symphony, “In Christ Alone,” and Chris Tomlin’s “I Will Rise.” Presented by SCERA Chamber Singers, a new 30-member adult audition choir, directed by Miriam Burton.
