POLICY FOR SCHOOL MATINEES
CHANGES IN GROUP GUIDELINES: It has become necessary to make some changes in groups that are approved to attend the school matinees. Approved groups are public schools, official licensed pre schools, charter and private schools, educational organizations and official home school networks (Alpine Online, WHEN, etc). Families and neighborhood groups should attend the evening public showings. Home school families should join with an official home school network or plan to attend the evening shows. Groups of individuals and families (even if over 20 people) are not eligible to attend the morning matinees.
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED! We will begin taking reservations for our Fall 2017 and Winter 2018 shows on Monday, September 11, 2017 @ 10:00am. Reservation requests will be done through an online form and will be taken in the order they are received. This keeps it 100% fair for everyone! We will not be doing phone or email reservations. Filling out the form does not guarantee a reservation – we will contact you within 48 hours to confirm via the phone or email you provide. Be sure to fill out every required field or your form will not submit. If you submitted it correctly, you will receive a confirmation page giving additional instructions.
IMPORTANT QUESTIONS ON THE ONLINE FORM: 1) You will be asked to provide your first, second and third choice of dates. Shows run Monday-Friday @ 10am on the dates listed. 2) You will also need to put a very good estimate of the number of people attending – this should include children as well as any teachers, parents and adults. Whatever number of people you make reservations for, you can bring 10 less than you booked and we will not charge you. However, you will be responsible for full payment for the remaining number, regardless if actual attendance is less. You can decrease your reservation number if you call AT LEAST three weeks in advance of your show date. 3) You will also be asked if you are interested in our treat combo, which offers a small cup of popcorn, candy and fruit juice box drink for $1.00. The treat combos must be ordered in advance.
PAYMENT: Payment is made on the morning you come, and we accept cash, check and all major credit cards. One person MUST be in charge of payment, no individual payments, please. Please have your count and money ready and organized before you check in. Price is $2.00/person, including children age 3 and older, teachers, parents and any other adults. Children 2 and under are free only if they sit on a lap.
SEATING: Your group must be all together before you will be seated, so please encourage everyone to be on time and organize the bulk of your group before you enter the building. We will have staff to seat you in the theatre, and do seat at our discretion. Because of fire code and the large amount of people, no strollers and car seats can be accomadated in the theatre or lobby – please leave them in your car.
