known by name (formerly j209) is a contemporary Christian vocal band celebrated for powerful harmonies, dynamic arrangements, and inspiring faith-centered music. Winners of the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards for the last two consecutive years, the group has performed for thousands at the Tabernacle at Temple Square, BYU’s Marriott Center, and collaborated with artists including Steven Sharp Nelson (of The Piano Guys) and the King will come. Through inspiring music, powerful Christ-centered concerts, and meaningful experiences, known by name seeks to help youth and adults come closer to Jesus Christ, find hope through Him, and remind them that THEY are known by name and loved by God.
