Description
This joyfully razzle-dazzle musical adaptation of Thornton Wilder’s hit play The Matchmaker bursts with humor, romance, energetic dance and some of the greatest songs in musical theatre history. The romantic and comic exploits of Dolly Gallagher Levi, turn-of-the-century matchmaker and “woman who arranges things,” is a perfectly riotous delight and a dazzling musical comedy dream. Our production will feature the SCERA Orchestra, under the direction of Emmy Award-winning composer and producer Marden Pond.
Directed by Kurt Elison. Music Direction by Kelsey Mariner Thompson. Choreography by Robbie Cromwell. Produced through arrangement with Concord Theatricals.
$7.50- Non profit groups/organizations or official church activities of 20 or more purchased in advance, no refunds or exchanges. Must provide proof of non-profit status *
In most cases, events will not be declared a “rainout” before showtime. A rainy day can turn into a beautiful evening and most shows continue regardless of cold, wind or rain. Come prepared for the weather, or plan to attend on another evening! If the show is declared an official rainout by SCERA management prior to intermission, rainchecks will be given for one of the remaining nights.
