Description

“Be Our Guest!” The Academy Award-winning animated film comes to life in this romantic and beloved “tale as old as time.” Step into the enchanted world of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, as the Tony Award nomination for Best Musical includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. Directed by Jerry Elison. Music Direction by Dana Cardon. Choreography by Dani LeCompte.

Presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.MTIShows.com.

RAINOUT POLICY

In most cases, events will not be declared a “rainout” before showtime. A rainy day can turn into a beautiful evening and most shows continue regardless of cold, wind or rain. Come prepared for the weather, or plan to attend on another evening! If the show is declared an official rainout by SCERA management prior to intermission, rainchecks will be given for one of the remaining nights.

asl-iconThe show will be interpreted in American Sign Language on Tuesday, June 20.  Those needing this service should purchase general admission tickets and then email april@scera.org with the number of people in your party.  We will set up a small section of reserved chairs near the stage on the south side of the hill.
