Description
Ballet is the foundation of many dance styles and focuses on proper technique, posture, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Dancers will learn ballet terminology and age-appropriate combinations while building strength, discipline, and confidence in a supportive environment. Students will perform in a mainstage recital at the end of each semester.
ATTIRE: Students should come dressed in modest, comfortable clothing that allows them to move freely. Dancewear is welcome but not required. Please avoid jeans or restrictive clothing. Hair should be pulled back away from the face, and dancers may wear jazz shoes, or clean athletic shoes depending on the activities in class.
DROP FEES: If you drop a semester class, you may do so within the first month with a $25 drop fee. If you drop after one month, there are no refunds. If you decide to drop at the semester break between Fall and Winter, there is a $25 drop fee. If the class is canceled due to low enrollment or other circumstances, SCERA will work with you to find an alternate class or provide a full refund. Please email the program director.
