ELAINE BREWSTER

One of Elaine’s favorite things is seeing her students understand an idea and leap into progress! She has been a voice teacher and member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) for over 40 years, and has also taught music/theater through the Utah Arts Council for over 20 years. She got her start singing with a quintet of girls at the age of ten. Elaine is a former member of The Tabernacle Choir and has soloed with the Utah Symphony, with two entities in Europe, and on PBS. She adores performing! Some of her roles in musical theater and opera include: Tzeitel (Fiddler on the Roof), Queen Guenevere (Camelot), Celia (Promised Valley), Frasquita (Carmen). Her performing now consists of one-woman shows, such as “It’s Not So Bad Getting Old” (Seniors and Aging) and “They Rode With the Wind” (Pony Express and Pioneers).
