Two highly anticipated movies will be the opening and closing night films at the 2015 LDS Film Festival. Freetown, a new film by Garrett Batty, director of the box office success The Saratov Approach, will kick off the LDS Film Festival on Wednesday, March 4, at 7:30pm.

The closing night film will be The Cokeville Miracle, the newest film by T.C. Christensen, director of 17 Miracles and Ephraim's Rescue. It is scheduled to screen on the last day of the festival on Saturday, March 7, at 7:30pm.

"We couldn't be happier with the lineup of films this year," says festival director Christian Vuissa, who started the LDS Film Festival in 2001, while still a film student at Brigham Young University. "With Freetown and The Cokeville Miracle we have the perfect bookends for the most exciting year in our history."

Both films will be released theatrically later this year and have their premiere at the LDS Film Festival.

The LDS Film Festival website will be updated frequently with information and the detailed schedule of events.
