During early registration, you will receive $5.00 OFF listed tuition. After early registration, regular prices apply. There is a $15 cancellation fee per class.

Little Leads
June 3-7 * $80.00 * Ages 6-8 * 9:30am-12:00pm
Fun and exciting exploration of theater for the beginning young actor. Students will learn through fun theatre games, use their imagination to create characters and adventures, and learn how to interact with other actors.

Marquee Marvels
June 3-7 * $80.00 * Ages 9-12 * 9:30am-12:30pm
Perfect for young actors who love performing. Students will work on audition skills, singing techniques, character building and many other theatrical elements. Games, dancing, puppets and many other fun activities will make learning a blast!

Triple Threat
June 10-14 * $130.00 * Ages 12-15 * 9:30am-3:00pm
A high energy workshop is for the young actor serious about theatre. Students will work on choreography, music theory and vocal technique and will be given monologues, scenes and research assignments to study. Students will work in makeup, costume design and scenic design. Auditioning, resume prep and other elements of a well-rounded performer will be explored. Daily lunch and T-shirt included with tuition.

Stage Combat
June 10-14 * $80.00 * Ages 12-17 * 9:00am-12Noon
Explore the craft of stage combat, with sword fighting, daggers, quarterstaffs, hair pulling, fist fights, stage slaps and more. Learn how to make the audience say “Ouch! That had to hurt!” while keeping you and your co-stars safe and sound. Students will do a presentation for family & friends and may also audition for SCERA Youth Shakespeare Team that will compete at the Utah Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City in October 2013.

Broadway Belters
July 8-12 * $80.00 * Ages 11-15 * 9am-12Noon
Just singing and nothing else! Brush up on your Broadway songbook and learn great techniques to help you land the lead, improve your voice or belt the roof of the theatre. Students will work with various vocal coaches, performers and directors to learn what makes a stellar audition, a great performance and a healthy voice.

Broadway Movers
July 8-12 * $80.00 * Ages 9-15 * 9:30am-12:30pm
Love to sing and dance? Students will learn songs and choreography from various Broadway musicals. This is a fun, fast- paced workshop that will leave the young actor excited about music, theatrical movement and improve their singing and dancing ability.

Bard to the Bone
June 3-7 * $80.00 * Ages 11-15 * 9:30am-12:30pm
Shakespeare takes center stage, as attendees learn the art of the Bard and work on monologues, duos, trios and scenes. Students may also audition for SCERA Youth Shakespeare Team that will compete at the Utah Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City in October 2013.

National Youth Theatre Festival
June 19-24 * Wed-Sat/Mon * $200 * Ages 8-15 * 9:30am-5:00pm
An incredible five-day experience, students participate in top level events and workshops with college theater professors, national choreographers and industry professionals and learn how to perfect their audition, dance and performance skills. Participants prepare and present a music revue to be performed as the pre-show to the mainstage musical Disney’s Tarzan at the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre. NYTF is a wonderful opportunity for young actors to spend time with acclaimed artists and participate in a fast-paced, fun and educational workshop. Meals and T-shirt included.
